New Partners in 2018

By January 23, 2018Blog

Melbourne WebFest couldn’t run without the support of all of our partners and sponsor. In 2018 Melbourne WebFest will once again be partnering with City of Melbourne, Film Victoria, La Trobe University, ABC iview and Jasper Hotel.

We would like to introduce a few new program sponsors for our 2018 festival.

Mr. Moto

Mr. Moto is the only company in Australia to own and operate a digital signage network designed exclusively for promoting events and entertainment.

Established in 1985, Mr. Moto is the most experienced company in Melbourne in promoting the Arts, Events and Entertainment industry. Through poster distribution, flyer distribution, and their own digital signage network, Mr. Moto have the ability to showcase your event, theatre or band promotion unlike anyone else.

OzFlix

Ozflix is a movie streaming platform like no other, they’re new, they’re on demand, and they’re all Australian. Ozflix are committed to making Aussie films easily accessible to both our local and international audiences through the highest quality streaming technologies available and are on their way to sourcing ‘Every Aussie Movie. Ever.’

Ozflix, will stage and stream the first Independent Film Awards in April of 2018. The Awards, already dubbed “The Ozzies”, will recognise achievements in independent Australian films made for less than A$5 million.

Entries are open now. Entry forms and submission details are available from www.ozflix.org/awards-2018.

Final Draft

The award winner for Best Screenplay, Best Pitch as part of our ABC iview pitching comp, and all student series selected will receive free access to Final Draft.

Final Draft was co-founded in 1990 by Marc Madnick and Ben Cahan, who recognized that Hollywood lacked a word-processor capable of automatically formatting a script to the entertainment industry’s stringent standards. This led to the creation of Final Draft, a fully dedicated screenwriting software application that automatically formats your script to Hollywood’s industry standards.
